Center for Family Preservation Substance Abuse Outpatient Services is committed to the treatment of Substance Abuse that provides a holistic treatment approach that encompasses client’s environmental, physiological, psychological and social aspects, while addressing ethic and cultural values. We are firm in the belief of the clinical and Spiritual approach, and we are prepared for the dysfunctional aspects of the disease and Spiritual Illiteracy, including the displacement of persons who once rose from the rubbish of poverty, only to return by the hand of the Substance Abuse/Mental Health Illness and Spiritual Attacks.

Men's ministry

 MTM’s overall purpose is to develop men into becoming passionate disciples for Christ. Our desire is to move from just a Men’s Ministry, to a Ministry “To” Men. This move will require a mindset and process change that begins from the very first day a man joins our church. Pastor Arthur Kennedy

pastor's aide ministry

As Pastor’s Aide, we must look at the office that our Pastor occupies for God and not view him as just another man… Every Pastor aide member is responsible for understanding that the goal is to be a blessing to the Blessing that God has given us. The Pastor Aide will sponsor fund-raisers and use the monies to assist Pastor as needed; attending meetings, seminars and conventions or wherever else deemed necessary.  President Elder  Pamela Blackmon

Women's ministry 

(D)ivine ( I)nspirational (V)irtuous ( A)nointed (S)isters (DIVAS) centers on relationships between women, whether it is mother to daughter, sister to sister, or friend to friend. Emphasis is also placed on wholesome interaction with the significant male counterparts in our lives. music ministry 

Open Call for All Singers, Dancers, and Actors:

There will be an open call every first Saturday of each month at Faith & Hope @ 11 AM all singers, dancers and actors.

Singers: Please come prepared to sing a song of your choice a Capella

Dancers: If you have an audition piece you can perform it, but it is not mandatory/necessary.

Actors: If you have something prepared to read/act that is fine, but it is not mandatory/necessary.

Prison Outreach/shelter from the storm 

Shelter from the Storm carries out its mission by providing workforce readiness training and job placement programs to youth and adults. Shelter from the Storm also delivers wrap-around services including transitional housing, behavioral health treatment and financial literacy to help our participants reach self-sufficiency.

Shelter from The Storm also conducts public education on the need for transforming our nation's prisons and juvenile institutions into places where nurturing emotional (re)habilitation, inspiring positive values, enhancing relationship skills, and imparting behavior patterns necessary for healthy functioning in our communities.
